Connecting the cup dispensing module

Model S / Milkshaker machines can be equipped with a cup dispensing module. Wiring diagrams for devices supplied by iShaker are provided below. When connecting the module, the machine must be disconnected from the power supply.

Connecting cup dispensing unit No. 1

Caution! This cup dispensing unit must be installed with the motor terminals facing down.

+M is connected to the + terminal of the motor (with the mark), DRV and “-” to the first and second contacts of the output unit:

A separate wire is connected to the M-motor and the third contact of the dispensing unit:

Installing the block with the motor facing upwards will result in failure of the motor gearbox.

Attention! Before commissioning, the unit must be calibrated for the cups used!

To activate the module programmatically, enable and save the "Cup dispensing module" option.

Check the operation of the dispensing unit (without loaded cups) using the "Cup test" button.

Connecting dispensing unit No. 2

Attention! This cup dispensing unit must be installed with the motor facing upwards!

Connect the wiring of the distribution unit to the harness according to the diagram below.

Attention! Before commissioning, the unit must be calibrated for the cups used!

To activate the module programmatically, enable and save the "Cup Dispensing Module" option. Test the dispensing unit (without cups loaded) using the "Cup Test" button.

Calibration of the cup dispensing unit

Before commissioning the unit, configure it for the cups being used. To do this:

1. Loosen the adjusting flag fixing screw:

2. Move the flag until it stops:

3. Lower the cup and pull the bottom part until the rim of the cup is fixed on the rollers:

4. Tighten the fixing screw.

The unit must be recalibrated whenever the batch of cups, cup sizes, and/or cup materials change. The unit's functionality must be tested during each service (at least 10 dispensing tests).

Problems?

In some cases, the problem with dispensing the cup remains even after calibration; the cup may get stuck during dispensing and not fall into the catcher:

Push the cups out of the tube and inspect the guide rollers - they should all be facing the same direction:

If the cup is not dispensed (the dispensing unit does not turn on or the motor does not complete its rotation), check the order of the terminal connections to the motor and the dispensing unit, and the controller board.

If after connection the unit works in the opposite direction (pushes the cups upwards) - swap the + and - terminals of the dispensing unit motor.
